Coyote Rojo 2 in Groveland

Ate here last night. Awesome service and great food as always.

My order came out incomplete. Grilled chicken missing onions and mushrooms. Rice was flat on flavor. Can be better yes, they can be better!

Food was bland, no flavor what so ever. This used to be a regular spot for dinner, stopped going there about 18 months ago and decided to give it another try. Do not waste your time there are much better Mexican restaurants locally.

I had a veggie meal, it was awesome, the fresh made chips are so delicious. And the stuffs are so nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

We have always enjoyed this restaurant. Food had always been good and service great. They do an incredible amount of business, too. However, last night the food was 'eh'. I usually order either carne asada or verde and it had always been nice chunks of roast pork. Last night they served me paper-thin pork steak cut into child size pieces. Although the taste was adequate it definitely lacked what the dish used to have. Both the sauce and quac looked like it had green food dye to get the traditional appearance. We will try the restaurant again but not this dish. So if you go there for dinner avoid this dish if you like traditional preparation. I should also state my husband ordered the carne asada and it was great. Service was wonderful, too.

The salsa here is outrageous. It's better than good. I want it right now as I sit here writing this. The chimichanga is unreal. Chicken is super flavorful and they have some very good guacamole as well. Just go eat here.

We have been eating here since we moved from the west coast and LOVE everything about it. Yummy! Great service and prices.

Our favorite local spot for a quick and cheap date night! I got the tortilla soup once when I wasn’t feeling well and needed to get something in my system, and now I’m obsessed with it. Boyfriend loves the chimichanga. Chips and salsa are always fast, fresh, and delicious, and the queso is that unauthentic white goo that you know is probably just velveeta left in a warmer all day, but you’d happily eat it by the spoonful all the same.

Great food. The chips came out warm and the salsa was delicious. Large portions at a great price. Plate was beautiful & very hot. So fresh, amazing.

I had lunch here today. I had shrimp salad which is very unusual for me. The shrimp were great. Greens and vegies were good. Chips and salsa good. I enjoyed my lunch and would go back again soon.

The food was very good the service was quick and food was quick and flavor was great will eat there again.

Fabulous as always. My husband had the fajita combo and I had the chimichanga plate we had a couple of beers and I had some wine. Service was great food was awesome we go every Friday.

Update 6/19/20Place is STILL AWESOME! Always consistently delicious food and excellent service!!LOVE, LOVE the food and service, do wish they would change and update the decor and seating etc, so took off one star for that... But the staff are well trained and friendly and the food... The food is TERRIFIC and has NOT disappointed in over FOUR years of eating there, for both lunch and dinner! The seafood enchiladas, all the fajitas and the chips and salsa are just perfect!! (Even if they never manage to change the decor, we will still continue to frequent it!)

The food was really good as always. But I rated only 3 starts because only one waiter in the entire restaurant was using mask.So when I had my table , I request to be served by a waiter using mask .

This place is a great place to come for quick and delicious Mexican food. The restaurant is nicely decorated with memorabilia from the country and the music is a nice touch. The food is tasty. I had a 2 item combo which was a Chicken Flauta and a Shredded Beef Hard Taco. All which came with a small side salad and Rice and Beans. I had a Mexican Apple Soda to drink which is also one of my favorite beverages. Next time though I think I will try the Sangria Soda instead! The Chocken was nicely seasoned and tender and so was the Shredded Beef. The Flauta was cooked perfectly and everything came out very quickly. I also has the Chips and Salsa with some Guacamole which was Delicious!!!This place is a real gem, especially since there is not too much this side of Lake County. I will be visiting here again. Actually, I think that this place just became my go to place for Mexican food. THANK YOU COYOTE ROJO!!!

The food was good as always here. Our service was exceptional. Great place to visit at a reasonable price.

Great food food, but unfortunately unless Miguel is your server there is much to be desired. You can hear the younger servers in the background being silly, completely unprofessional. Please take the time to train your younger servers, Miguel is a great example of what they need to fulfill and unfortunately if he cannot be our server we won’t be back.

We love Coyote Rojo. Lisett serves us and she is so awesome. We don’t even have to tell her our order, she already knows! Their homemade salsa is great and so is the Gauc!

Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant.... Kids love it.Great price too...

I moved to Groveland about a year ago and it wasn't until a few days ago that I found this restaurant. If you are looking for good, tasty, authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price and great service you need to stop by. I ordered a chicken chimichanga with rice and beans and it was delicious! It had so much chicken, I literally had no space for dessert. My son had flautas and also loved it. I found Mexican spot in Groveland 😀

Love this authentic Mexican Restaurant! The food is excellent and the staff are always nice and friendly. We have NEVER had to wait for service and our food is brought to us promptly and is always hot!!! Great eating experience always!!!

We normally go to the Spring Hill Coyote Rojo but found ourselves in Groveland and hungry. It's just as good, which is amazing food. Do yourself a favor and drink some horchata.

It was my favorite place before but food is not the same, flavor of the roasting veggies not the same,I keep going to see if there's any change,but I was disappointed last time too.

I have been here a number of times great food at a great price.
